Anthony N. Iannarelli, Sr.,
USN Ret and John G. Iannarelli
Anthony N. Iannarelli served in the United
States Navy for thirty years before retiring as a Chief Petty Officer in 1966.
He was stationed on the island of Guam when it fell to the Japanese on December
10, 1941, and spent the next four years as a prisoner of war held in Japan. Fluent
in Japanese, he returned to Japan during the Korean War where he worked for the
Office of Naval Intelligence.
John G. Iannarelli
is Anthony's youngest son. A former San Diego
Police Officer and an attorney, John Iannarelli currently serves as a Supervisor
Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He resides in Northern
Virginia.
